The day, step by step
- 8:00 am Hotel pickup I meet you at your hotel.
- 8:15 am Hawa Mahal The honeycomb façade of the Palace of Winds catches the morning sun, so this is the best time for photos.
- 8:45 am Amer Fort Arrive soon after the gates open, before the crowds. Allow about two hours.
- 10:45 am Panna Meena ka Kund The criss-cross stepwell a few minutes from Amer.
- 11:15 am Jal Mahal Photo stop at the water palace on the way back into town.
- 12:30 pm Lunch A local thali or a quick bite, whichever you prefer.
- 1:45 pm City Palace and Jantar Mantar Side by side in the old city, so no time is lost driving.
- 4:00 pm Albert Hall Jaipur's oldest museum, in Ram Niwas Garden. Stay on to dusk if you'd like to see it lit up.
