- 6:20 am Jal Mahal at dawn The water palace in the first light, with the Aravalli hills behind it.
- 7:00 am Panna Meena ka Kund The stepwell is at its quietest and best for photos.
- 7:30 am Chai and pyaaz kachori A hot, flaky onion kachori and a cup of chai at a local stall.
- 8:00 am Amer Fort at opening Walk the courtyards before the tour buses arrive. Allow about two hours.
- 10:30 am Back at your hotel Rest through the heat, or continue into the old city.
